Both defenders were named in the Selecao squad for the high-profile international friendly against France on Thursday evening, but have been forced to withdraw from the side due to injury.
The pair watched on from the stands as PSG beat FC Lorient at the Parc des Princes on Friday evening, and while ex-Chelsea man David Luiz featured for half against Girondins de Bordeaux last Sunday, Marquinos has been out of action since the memorable Champions League triumph against the Pensioners at Stamford Bridge.
Atletico Mineiro forward Diego Tardelli has also withdrawn from the squad, according to L’Equipe.
