Arsenal are ready to offer unwanted forward Lukas Podolski to Bayer Leverkusen this summer in a bid to sign Turkish midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu, according to the Daily Star.

The 21-year-old has really caught the eye in the Bundesliga this season, looking like one of the best young prospects in Europe, and a particular threat from set pieces.
Calhanoglu has scored a number of wondergoals from free-kicks and long range, and could be a superb addition to the Premier League if the Gunners can get this deal done.
Liverpool and Manchester City have also shown an interest in Calhanoglu, but Arsenal hope the offer of Podolski could swing the transfer their way.
