The 31-year-old Serbian scored Chelsea’s opening goal against the Ligue 1 giants earlier this month, but eventually saw his side exit the Champions League on away goals. Now PSG boss Laurent Blanc wants the player to join his side at the end of the season.
Ivanovic, who has been an ever-present for Jose Mourinho’s side so far this season, was recently offered a new one year £90,000-a-week deal, but according to the Daily Express, remains undecided on his future.
Mourinho wants Ivanovic tied down to a longer contract, but the club’s policy is to not offer longer deals to ageing players. The player arrived at the club from Lokomotiv Moscow in January 2008, and has since scored 31 goals in all competitions.
