Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho conceded that the red card shown to Zlatan Ibrahimovic was a mistake, but felt that former player David Luiz should’ve been given his marching orders for an elbow on Diego Costa.

Mourinho saw his Chelsea side eliminated in the first knockout round of the Champions League and could have no complaints regarding the result.

Luiz, ironically, headed home at the end of normal time to force an extra 30 minutes which saw another two goals scored with PSG heading through on the away goals rule.
Ibrahimovic is set for a two-match ban should his red card be upheld and his former manager certainly feels UEFA must accept the mistake and allow the Swede to compete in the quarter-finals.
