The former Real Madrid star has not settled into life at Old Trafford.
Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker claims that £59.7m summer signing Angel Di Maria should leave Old Trafford, and move to Arsenal, in order to save his gloomy career – and reputation.
Parker believes that the tactics used by Louis van Gaal are unsuited to the Argentine, and believes there are a host of other clubs that Di Maria would settle into with ease, including Arsenal and Chelsea.

Parker wrote on Eurosport, “PSG would suit him nicely, as would going back to Real Madrid. In England, Arsenal are the best fit for the way they shift the ball around quickly in midfield, but even Chelsea would be a better home for him than United.”
Man United became renowned for their attack-flowing football under Sir Alex Ferguson, however, this season, the side possess more similarities to Stoke City than the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City – even if they are sitting in the top four – with their attacking tempo having diminished.
The 50-year-old added: “United have gone from being one of the most flamboyant teams in the Premier League to being in the bottom half of the table for excitement.”
The former Netherlands boss has an immense array of world-class talent at his disposal – Wayne Rooney, Radamel Falcao, Juan Mata, and Angel Di Maria – yet the 63-year-old does not know how to utilise his players.
Mata – a Champions League winner – is struggling on the bench, Rooney – the club’s third all time scorer – has been pushed back into midfield, while Falcao – formerly one of the world’s most highly regarded strikers – has humiliatingly had to play in the U21’s to be given playing time.
And having spent £150m in the summer on new signings – it is an undoubted atrocity than van Gaal needs another £150m to spend at the end of the season.
