Manchester United’s Angel Di Maria was sent off after collecting two yellow cards in a matter of moments, the second of which was for pulling the referee Michael Oliver’s shirt.

The Argentinian was initially booked for diving, after he went down with little provocation outside the Arsenal area. It appeared that Aaron Ramsey had grabbed the winger’s wrist, but it did not seem to be enough to send Di Maria tumbling.
Di Maria was so displeased with the decision, and the subsequent yellow card, that as Oliver turns away from the player, he grabbed the back of his shirt, prompting a reluctant official to send United’s record signing off.
It had been a decent night for Di Maria before that point, having set up United’s equaliser in the first half with a delicious cross into the box.
