Arsenal fan Piers Morgan phoned in to MUTV to interrogate Jonny Evans’s wife – who is a presenter on Manchester United’s own channel – and find out more about ‘spitgate’.

Stoke Striker Issues Warning After Papiss Cisse & Jonny Evans Spitting Incident
Evans has been banned this week for six matches after appearing to spit on Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse in the game between the two sides, and Morgan was keen to stoke the fire, by asking about the incident ahead of United’s FA Cup tie with Arsenal on Monday.
Unsurprisingly, Morgan received a negative reception from Evans’s wife, Helen, and former defender David May, who was also in the studio.
She defended her husband, claiming that the Northern Ireland international knew nothing of the incident until it appeared across the media the next day.
