The Metro reports how Ibra has told his agent, Mino Raiola, that he wishes to continue playing for the next eight years professionally which led to Raiola telling reporters that this might not be with PSG saying: “I don’t know if he’ll stay”.
This revelation is said to have tempted Chelsea into attempting to work a potential deal for the Swedish forward and they could now make for a bid for him.
Just what the Blues need him for with Diego Costa having already sown down the main striking role at Stamford Bridge is anyones guess added to that Ibra is 33-years-old and Chelsea have a veteran striker already on the books in Didier Drogba.
It seems a strange move for the Premier League leaders who would likely have to spend a hefty chunk of change to both purchase and match his current contract with the French champions.
Whatever the truth in this news, Ibra will face Chelsea this coming week in the return leg of PSG’s Champions League tie with the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
