The game between the champions of Europe’s and South America’s secondary continental competitions will be played at River’s Estadio El Monumental.

It will be the first time Sevilla have played in the world famous stadium, but will be their third competitive game on Argentinian soil.

They will arrive for the meeting with three Argentine players in their squad; Nico Pareja, Ever Banega, and goalkeeper Mariano Barbosa – who is a former River Plate player.

The two teams have met once before, in a friendly in 1961 which Sevilla won 3-2 in Spain.
