The news means Gabriel will likely miss the next four games for Arsenal which include trips to Man United, West Ham, Newcastle United as well as a trip to AS Monaco in the Champions League last 16.
Wenger did have some more positive news, however, with Nacho Monreal having a late fitness test and could still be in contention for the north London side’s FA Cup quarterfinal at Manchester United this coming Monday.

The injuries almost confirm that Laurent Koscielny and Per Mertesacker will start once again in defence for the Gunners when they face Louis van Gaal’s side next week.
