PSG boss not impressed by his star striker’s celebration.
Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc has warned striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic against removing his shirt in celebration if he scores against Chelsea on Tuesday night in the Champions League clash.
After scoring a kung-fu style kick in Saturday’s league draw with Caen, the Swedish legend took off his shirt to reveal his new temporary tattoos dedicated to the names of 15 people suffering in famine struck regions, in support of the work by the United Nations’ World Food Program.

However, as heartfelt as the move may have been, Blanc does not want to risk his star forward receiving a yellow card in the all important first-leg of their last 16 tie with Mourinho’s men:
“I was aware of his commitment to the foundation, but personally I didn’t know that he’d had several names tattooed on him,” the 49-year-old was quoted by the Telegraph.
“If it was to show his tattoos then it worked because it made the front page of every website in the world, so in that sense it was very successful for him and for the foundation. But it cost us a yellow card.”
“Imagine if the game had become more heated and that he’d got a second yellow card. The game would have been over for us,” Blanc continued.
“I don’t know if taking his shirt off was a good thing. I hope he won’t take his shirt off if he scores tomorrow because he will get another yellow card. So it’s something to ponder.”
