Manchester are set to launch an ambitious £30m bid for Algerian star Yacine Brahimi from Porto, according to the Express.
The winger starred for Algeria in the Africa Cup of Nations, and is a burgeoning star in European football.
Brahimi burst onto the scene in Brazil, where he caught the eye with a number of wonderful displays; not least in the 4-2 win over South Korea in the group stages.

According to the latest reports, Man United are looking to activate the release clause in his contract. Van Gaal is hoping to steal a march on rivals Arsenal and Man City, who have also been keeping tabs on the 25-year-old.
The attacking midfielder hardly seems like the kind of player any of these teams need, with all three fully stocked with attack minded players. They would arguably be better served turning their attentions to a defensive target, and forgetting about Brahimi.
