West Ham United’s on-loan midfielder Alex Song has dropped a major hint about his future after revealing he is desperate to stay in London, according to the Guardian.

The Cameroon international, on a season long loan deal at Upton Park from Barcelona, is likely to be on the move next season and the Hammers will want to make his transfer permanent after his impressive form.
Still, Song’s performances since returning to the Premier League have seen him linked with the likes of Liverpool and his old club Arsenal, with the Reds surely out of the running now after these quotes from the player stating his desire to stay in London.
“We will see at the end of the season,” he said when asked about his future. “At the moment I am very happy here. My family is happy. The most important thing is happiness. I will see what happens and then I will make my decision at the end of the year.
“My future will be in England. I think I have more opportunities to stay in London because I have my house in London, my family live here, my kids have a lot of friends in London. Somewhere in my mind says: ‘I have to stay in London.’ I would love to stay here but I don’t know what I will choose at the end of the season. At the moment I am just happy to do my job and then we will see.”
