Working for BT Sport, Michael Owen claimed during the Red Devils 3-0 win over the League Two side that he still held affection for the Old Trafford side following his short spell at the club.
Famously Owen signed for Sir Alex Ferguson’s side in 2009 and his spell with Liverpool’s hated rivals prompted many to turn their back on Owen’s achievements and performances when plying his trade at Anfield but Jamie Carragher certainly seems to have seen the funny side of it.
