Manchester United transfer news
The Red Devils are known to be big fans of the exciting Welsh winger, who previously shone in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur before his world-record £85m move to the Bernabeu last season.
Bale has performed well in Spain, but could be available for the right price as United seek to make him the most expensive player of all time once again with a huge £120m bid.
Louis van Gaal has enjoyed a gung-ho approach in the transfer market since taking over at Old Trafford, signing big names such as Radamel Falcao, Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw and another former Real Madrid star in Angel Di Maria in the summer.
Bale is next on his list and would no doubt make a superb addition to the Dutchman’s side as they look to re-establish themselves as a force in English football.
