The 26 year old has impressed this term and is said to also interest Liverpool and Man City and a bid of this magnitude may well be hard for the Stadio Olimpico side to resist.
Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal has long been linked with a move for AS Roma star Kevin Strootman but ongoing injury issues may well have led the Dutch manager to switch his attention to Nainggolan, who moved to the Italian capital last January.
With Darren Fletcher’s contract expiring in the summer and Anderson seemingly being surplus to requirements there is perhaps room for further strengthening the Man United midfield.
Van Gaal signed Ander Herrera and Daley Blind over the summer whilst Marouane Fellaini has been in excellent form this term but Nainggolan has clearly attracted the attention of the Man United manager.
