Barcelona’s star-studded strike-force are starting to pick up some momentum…

Bartomeu, who was quoted by Goal.com, said after the game: “We have the best attack in the world.”We demonstrated that again in this game. We have a very powerful attack.”
Neymar also scored twice, while £75m summer signing Luis Suarez was rested to the bench. Gerard Pique and Pedro completed the scoring as the Catalans rose to second in the table, a point behind leaders Real Madrid – who have a game in hand.
The two goals for the four-time world player of the year took his tally to 31 goals in 31 games for club and country so far this season, but the Camp Nou chief insisted that the Argentine isn’t motivated by personal success.
“Messi plays for the team, he doesn’t look at statistics or goals,” he added. “We are improving in the second half of the season and we are growing in confidence at an important part of the campaign.”
