The Colombian international has been linked with a whole host of top clubs in recent times, having caught the eye with some fantastic performances in Serie A last season and this.

Chelsea are now said to be in advanced talks over bringing the player to Stamford Bridge, though it is yet to be confirmed if they are ready to meet his release clause of £26.8m, which may be required to persuade Fiorentina to sell.

Still, the Blues will be boosted by the fact that Cuadrado himself is keen to make the move, as he seems eager to make the step up to a bigger club after his fine form in the Italian top flight.

There’s no doubt the 26-year-old would make a fine addition to this Chelsea side, and could help them in their bid to win the Premier League title and other honours this season.
