Liverpool transfer news
The England international is attracting plenty of interest at the moment after some fine form in the Premier League, with his contract at Villa Park set to expire at the end of the season, making him a free agent in the summer transfer window.
Villa may now be hoping to avoid losing Delph on a free and will accept offers of £4m for his services this month, with Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur mentioned as his main suitors.
Both clubs could do with strengthening in midfield at the moment, with Liverpool in particular looking weak in that position and set to lose influential captain Steven Gerrard at the end of this campaign as the veteran midfielder makes the move to LA Galaxy.
Delph, 25, could be an ideal replacement in that position, and would surely be a bargain at such a low price.
