The Blues have been linked to the Colombian throughout the week, and a move seems to be getting closer by the day. If this news is true then it could mean that the saga is finally over. It would also mean that the Stamford Bridge outfit have managed to get the player for less than his reported release clause.
This move will not be good news for Andre Schurrle and Mohamed Salah, as both of those could be knocked down the pecking order for a position on the wing by the 26-year-old.
Cuadrado has drawn the interest of the Premier League champions through his performances at both the 2014 World Cup and in Serie A. In Italy this season he has six goals and four assists from 21 appearances, while in the summer he helped Colombia to the quarter finals of the World Cup.
