The 21 year old has bagged 17 goals in all competitions this term and in doing so has helped Mauricio Pochettino’s side challenge for a top four spot despite the fact that their senior forwards have all failed to impress.
Roberto Soldado, Emmanuel Adebayor and Erik Lamela have managed just four Premier League goals between them this term but Kane has manfully held the club’s attack together, along with strong goal-scoring support from the likes of Nacer Chadli and Christian Eriksen.
Kane is a product of Tottenham’s academy system and signed a new deal over the summer but such has been his rise to prominence the north London side are ready to offer him a contract that brings up on par with some of the club’s top earners.
If he continues to impress then one imagines a call-up to Roy Hodgson’s senior England side is on the cards.
