Rumours of Toure’s Etihad Stadium discontent have punctuated his spell at the Etihad Stadium since joining the club from Barcelona and, if Toure does decide that he fancies a new challenge in the summer, it is PSG who are jostling into pole position when it comes to the race to sign Toure.
Toure still has two and a half years left on his contract at City, meaning that the Premier League champions are under no pressure to sell, but with the midfielder heading into his thirties it would be no surprise if they cashed in and looked for a replacement – such as Juventus star Paul Pogba.
