Both Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in signing the 29-year-old and this news that he may be looking to leave the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu will have put them on alert.
“Modric is the engine of Real Madrid, but the problem it is his wife who did not fit into Madrid in Spain,” said FIFA agent Francois Gallardo.

Previous attempts from manager Louis van Gaal to sign the likes of Kevin Strootman of AS Roma, or Juventus’ Arturo Vidal, have fallen flat and Modric could really improve United in the middle.
However, at Stamford Bride the presence of Cesc Fabregas would make fitting the Madrid star into the team a more difficult task.
