The Manchester City manager believes that the rules are the same for every Premier League club.
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed his Chelsea counterpart Jose Mourinho’s complaints about the Premier League champions’ deal to bring Wilfried Bony to the Etihad Stadium, report the Mirror, after the Portuguese had claimed that the deal was evidence of the fact that Financial Fair Play rulings seemed to be applied differently when it came to City.

Arsenal boss Wenger slams the Ballon d’Or
Bony signed for City from Premier League rivals Swansea City this week in a deal worth around £28 million, which led Mourinho to question how City could be within Financial Fair Play regulations, but Pellegrini came out to defend his club and indicated that the rules are the same for all teams.
The Ivorian international will be unavailable to make his City debut until the end of the month at the earliest, due to his involvement in the African Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, but he is expected to add additional firepower to a City team who have seen injuries to their strikers derail their season.
Speaking about the deal for Bony and the concerns of his Stamford Bridge opposite number, ahead of this weekend’s clash with Arsenal, Pellegrini said:
“Financial things are the same for all the teams.”
“I don’t want to talk what another manager’s said because I didn’t hear what he said and it’s not important for me.”
