Manchester United transfer news
The Uruguay international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford before, and his fine performances for Atletico in the last year have seen him become regarded as one of the best players in the world in his position.
United are known to be looking somewhat weak at the back this season after the departures of players like Ferdinand, as well as two other senior members of last year’s squad in Nemanja Vidic and Patrice Evra.
Now at Queens Park Rangers, Ferdinand is still looking out for his old club United, and says he hopes they are looking into the possibility of signing Godin if they are to bring in a new signing in central defence.
Godin…..if @ManUtd are looking to strenghen in defence i hope they are onto him! Solid
