Manchester United transfer news
The Red Devils seem set to decide against signing the Colombian international permanently, with the on-loan AS Monaco man only managing three goals in the Premier League so far this season.
Falcao was one of many big-name signings made by van Gaal during the summer, but he has not performed after a series of niggling injuries and a lack of impact when he has made it on the pitch.
This has come as some disappointment for United, with Falcao previously being regarded as one of the best players in the world at Monaco and previous club Atletico Madrid.
Still, the 28-year-old’s future is now up for discussion in a meeting today, while plans to offload other players and make further signings could also be on the agenda, with big names such as Mats Hummels, Nathaniel Clyne and Seamus Coleman believed to be top targets for the club.
