Will this striker make way for new signing?
Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic faces being cut from his side’s Champions League squad for the rest of the season as the signing of Wilfried Bony means there are too many ‘foreign’ players in Manuel Pellegrini’s ranks.

According to the Daily Mail, Jovetic is among the most likely to make way for the Ivory Coast international, who has just completed a big-money move to the Etihad Stadium from Swansea City.
Other contenders could be Aleksandar Kolarov, Bacary Sagna or backup goalkeeper Willy Caballero, as Pellegrini has admitted he has too many overseas players to fit into his 25-man squad at the moment.
City currently have 17 players that do not count as homegrown, one more than the 16 that they have been allowed by UEFA after being found breaching Financial Fair Play laws.
Jovetic has largely been disappointing in his time at City and seems the logical player to drop out as the club addressed their need for improvements upfront by spending £25m on bringing in Bony this month.
