Liverpool’s stadium expansion will reportedly lead to the Anfield side garnering £25m from season ticket sales and naming rights that will then be handed to Brendan Rodgers to invest in his squad according to the Evening Standard.

The Merseyside outfit’s expanded main stand will generate £20m from the additional £8,500 seats and £5m from a naming rights sponsor according to chief executive Ian Ayre and would allow the club to spend without breaking UEFA’s FFP guidelines.
Liverpool spent big over the summer though their £116m outlay was covered to a great extent by the £83m made from the sales, with the club banking £75m from the sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona alone.
