Premier League rivals Arsenal and Crystal Palace have come to an agreement over the loan signing of young French striker Yaya Sanogo, report the Daily Star, with the former Auxerre man set to move to Selhurst Park until the end of the season and join Alan Pardew and the Eagles’ fight for Premier League survival, that was given a huge boost with the weekend win over Tottenham Hotspur.

There has been talk that Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has been looking to find Sanogo a loan move since the January transfer window opened, with the Frenchman believed to favour a Premier League move rather than a return to Ligue 1, and Crystal Palace looks like a move that could suit all parties.

France Under 21 international Sanogo has come in for some criticism from Gunners fans during his cameo appearances this season, with the rangy striker clearly very raw and somewhat awkward, but he can cause trouble and does have potential that Pardew will look to unlock during his spell in south London.

Sanogo will have to compete with the likes of former Gunner Marouane Chamakh and Dwight Gayle for a place in Pardew’s first team, however, with the Eagles appearing to have a good amount of firepower to choose from as they look to fight for Premier League survival.
