Premier League giants now looking at Birmingham City winger Demarai Gray.
Premier League rivals Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are set to deem West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino as too expensive, report the Mirror, with 18 year-old Birmingham City forward Demarai Gray the next player to be considered by both clubs as they look to add pace and quality to their frontlines during the January window.

Gray has been one of the standout performers for Birmingham this season, particularly during their recent revival after Gary Rowett replaced Lee Clark as manager at S. Andrew’s, but the financial situation at the club and uncertainty over ownership could lead to sales.
Championship leaders Bournemouth have already had two bids rejected for Gray, with the Blues believed to be holding out for a fee of £5m, a fee that Liverpool and Tottenham could deem to be far more palatable than the £20m being requested by Birmingham’s West Midlands rivals West Brom for Berahino.
Gray recently caught the eye with a virtuoso display and hat-trick against Reading in a Championship thumping of the Royals – and his performances have not gone unnoticed, with Arsenal, Everton and Newcastle United all credited with an interest in the England Under 21 international according to the report.
