Harry Kane has been superb for Tottenham this season, and his form has not gone unnoticed by England boss Roy Hodgson, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old was the star of the show as Spurs demolished league leaders Chelsea 5-3 on New Year’s day, and the young striker has inspired the North London club to go on an excellent run.
Hodgson has kept a close eye on the ever improving Kane, and admitted that he was hugely impressed with his performances this season.
“We have watched [Kane] for a while and I worked with him briefly in the Under-21s when I filled in for one game. Harry has come on in leaps and bounds and I’m not surprised,” he said.
With players like Danny Welbeck, Daniel Sturridge, and Wayne Rooney ahead of him in the pecking order, he will by no means walk into the Three Lions team. On current form however, Kane surely merits a chance, and could prove to be a future great for England.
Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League, one place above arch rivals Arsenal, and Champions League football is certainly not out of reach if they continue in this vein of form.
