The 28 year old White Hart Lane star is seen by Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal as a potential replacement for first choice custodian David de Gea, should he be tempted into a move to Real Madrid.
Lloris is certainly one of the best keepers in Europe and should Mauricio Pochettino fail to garner a Champions League berth for next term then there is a decent chance the former Lyon man will consider leaving the north London outfit.
Tottenham paid £8m for Lloris in August 2012 and he has proven a very able performer, and frequently been the club’s saviour and last line of defence and a move to Man United could be of interest should van Gaal’s side make a return to football’s top table.
Lloris has made 103 appearances for Tottenham and is also said to be a Real Madrid target with Carlo Ancelotti perhaps looking for a replacement for Iker Casillas, the Spanish international having not been the most reliable performer since reclaiming his spot as the Bernabeu side’s first choice starter.
