Man City transfer news
The Premier League champions are known to be big fans of the in-form Swans hit-man, who has impressed in his year and a half in the English top flight so far.
Other clubs have also shown some interest in Bony, but it looks as though City are now ready to step up their interest this week as they look to bring in some quality upfront.
Despite some big names featuring in Manuel Pellegrini’s squad already, City have had numorous injury worries this season and have missed the performances of star striker Sergio Aguero, while the likes of Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic have also faced spells on the sidelines.
Bony could be a useful signing to help lift City to the title this season, with last year’s winners now level on points with leaders Chelsea.
