The 23 year old will apparently cost the West London side £4m and will handily beef up Jose Mourinho’s attacking options.
The Blues will look to send the HNK Rijeka man to their Dutch feeder club Vitesse Arnhem on a loan deal and could then bring in the player over the summer as a possible replacement for veteran Didier Drogba.
Kramaric has bagged 28 goals in 31 appearances this term with his seven Europa League efforts perhaps a sign that the Rijeka has what it takes to impress at a higher level.
If he is indeed ushered into the Chelsea squad next term he will be behind Diego Costa and Loic Remy in Jose Mourinho’s pecking order and as such may be an ideal man to have as a back-up option.
