Chelsea take on Watford on Sunday, and despite rotation expected, will be hoping to cruise past the Championship opposition.
The Ivorian international is a four time FA Cup winner, but would love to win it a fifth time and believes his side are more than capable of doing so.
“We have to do it together. We want to achieve something great and I think that is why we have played well this season,” he said.
“And yes, I would love to win another FA Cup. I would love to win it for the club and for the fans as well.”
Having returned to the club for his second spell, many have been surprised at the effectiveness of the 36-year-old.
He is understandably playing second fiddle to £32m summer signing Diego Costa, but has been fighting tooth and nail with Loic Remy for the second choice position.
Chelsea started the season in fantastic fashion, but have seen their lead in the Premier League slip away over the last few weeks. The league is surely a priority, but Jose Mourinho would love to lift the FA Cup again as well.
