Barkley Chelsea: Blues chase Everton midfielder
The 27 year old Brazilian has been a virtual ever present for four seasons at Stamford Bridge but has found himself warming the bench this term and could be tempted by a move to to Turin if he feels that situation isn’t likely to change any time soon.
Ramires racked up 196 appearances in four campaigns since his move from Benfica in 2010 but has started just three of Chelsea’s 16 Premier League fixtures this term.
Juventus are readying an offer of £12m for the Blues midfielder though that doesn’t seem nearly enough for a player of such obvious quality and experience.
The Serie A side fear the loss of either Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal and would look to Ramires to fill any potential void.
Despite the fact that Ramires is clearly something of a back-up option it’s unlikely that Jose Mourinho would consider offers for the World Cup star, certainly not in the January transfer window.
