Vancouver Whitecaps have announced that they are re-signing attacking midfielder Mauro Rosales.
The midfielder recorded 11 assists in 32 MLS appearances in 2014, and is tied for second most assists (45) in MLS since joining the league in 2011.

“We’re very pleased to bring Mauro back,” said Whitecaps manager Carl Robinson. “Mauro was a crucial part of our run to the playoffs last season. His experience and leadership will continue to be valuable to our squad.”
Rosales, 33, was signed by Whitecaps last August from former MLS club Chivas USA.
He has previously played with Seattle Sounders, Dutch side Ajax, as well as Argentine sides Newell’s Old Boys and River Plate.
