The Bernabeu are keen to land the 23 year old Belgian international and will hope that a big money bid would tempt the former Lille man to consider a move to the Spanish capital.
Hazard finished last season as the Blues top scorer and leading assist maker and this source claims the Stamford Bridge star has an interest in a move to Real Madrid.
Jose Mourinho would be loathed to lose Hazard to his former employers and would surely fight tooth and nail to keep such a key member of his first team set-up.
Hazard has been offered a lucrative new five year deal with the west London side but is yet to put pen to paper on the Chelsea contract which may give Carlo Ancelotti hope.
One would have to wonder quite where Hazard would fit into an attack that would already include Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and James Rodriguez, and presumably one of that quartet would have to be sold before making way for the Chelsea man.
Hazard has scored 37 goals in 129 appearances for Chelsea since his £32m move to the club back in the summer of 2012.
