Manchester United and Real Madrid are also chasing the 15-year-old Norwegian wonderkid, who became the youngest player to play in a European Championship qualifier after making his Norway debut against Bulgaria.
Reports in the Daily Mail confirm that the Stromsgodset starlet, supposedly a Liverpool fan, was accompanied by his father as he investigated the club’s facilities on Merseyside.
Odegaard already has three international caps, and does not turn 16 until later this month. Most of Europe’s top sides have made approaches to Stromsgodset although Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho has ruled his side out of the race.
The Blues boss said: “I have heard from him and he can go to 25 clubs. I want to know what club it is going to be, but we will not go into battle with all these clubs..”
