Di Maria joined the Red Devils from Real Madrid for a British record £59.7million, and has put in a number of impressive performances under Louis van Gaal.
He had become the subject of some heavy interest from PSG during the summer window, but the club declined to make a move because of FFP restrictions.
However, reports had suggested that coach Laurent Blanc is still keen on the player and will move for him in the new year, with speculation increasing after the player himself had said in a book that a move to France would be too difficult to turn down.
But Blanc has now denied those rumours by claiming that he is more interested in landing Spurs star Christian Eriksen.
“I see a great player in Eriksen,” Blanc said.
“He was already strong at Ajax and has become even better in England. It would be nice if we could have him with us.”
