Four airport workers in the Ivory Coast have been sacked following an incident involving former Arsenal forward Gervinho, according to imatin.

The 27-year-old, who now plays his club football for AS Roma, was provided with a private jet to fly back to Italy following last week’s international against Cameroon.
He allegedly bribed four members of staff to allow him on board with an ‘unauthorised’ female companion.
However, his plan failed when the pilot refused to carry her.
