The 22-year-old is in superb form for club and country at the moment, earning a regular place in the Spanish national squad after a fine start to the season at the Bernabeu.
Having initially disappointed slightly since his big move from Malaga last summer, Isco is now considered a key player in Carlo Ancelotti’s side, and his fine form is attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League.
Arsenal were recently linked with a big-money bid for Isco, while Liverpool have also been mentioned as potential suitors for the youngster.
Still, City boss Manuel Pellegrini knows the player well, having worked with him during their time together at Malaga, and he will now try to be reunited with the player at the Etihad Stadium.
It remains to be seen if Isco will look to leave Real at this moment in time as he just starts to establish himself as one of the stars of the team, while the club themselves may also be reluctant to let him go, even for a big fee.
