The Bernabeu side are looking to bring in a replacement for Iker Casillas and had hoped to lure Old Trafford star de Gea back to his hometown but the Spanish international is intent on remaining at Man United.
This will lead Real Madrid to target Lloris and the 27 year old would surely be tempted by a move to the La Liga side, a move that would presumably become all the more plausible if Tottenham failed to secure a Champions League berth for next season.
Spurs paid Lyon £11m for Lloris in 2012 and he has arguably been one of the club’s most consistent performers over the past two seasons.
PSG and AS Monaco are also said to be keen on signing the French international and Mauricio Pochettino may have his work cut out trying to keep Lloris at White Hart Lane.
