The Chilean can’t stand losing, reports La Tercera (translation by Sport Witness), and after the Gunners’ shock exit from the cup last month he was absolutely furious.
Having made the switch to the Premier League from La Liga giants FC Barcelona in the summer it’s hardly surprising that Sanchez is not used to losing, but this particular loss was too much for him to handle.
“He was raging in the dressing room. To some it seemed that defeat did not matter so much, but he was very angry. He dislikes to ever lose,” claimed a witness.
The tenacious forward has an unbelievable work-rate, which can be seen both on and off the pitch.
Sanchez has looked tireless on the field for the North Londoners this season and La Tercera go on to say that the former Udinese star doesn’t even like to go a day without training.
The 25-year-old loathes the days set aside for rest and recovery, with the attacker preferring to just get out there and train.
