Is Rodgers getting frustrated by the Balotelli sideshow?
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers certainly seems to have spent a significant proportion of his press conferences this season talking about Mario Balotelli – and it seems as though the Northern Irishman has grown tired of the persistent question about his Italian striker. Speaking ahead of this weekend’s clash with Newcastle United in the Premier League this weekend, Rodgers quickly looked to move talk away from Balotelli’s clash with Jonjo Shelvey at the end of the Reds’ midweek League Cup victory over Swansea City, even telling one journalist to “think of a better question”.
