Arsenal haven’t conceded an English goal yet…

The Premier League table with only English goalscorers has a very different feel to it. Relegation strugglers are suddenly title challengers, and vice versa.

It says a lot about the state of English football at the moment that so many teams are reliant on foreign imports.

1) Arsenal 17 points, 4 goals scored, 0 conceded

Two goals from Danny Welbeck, along with one each for Jack Wilshere and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have put Arsenal top. More importantly in this table they haven’t conceded an English goal yet.

2) Swansea City 16 points, 7 goals scored, 1 conceded

Goals from Nathan Dyer, Wayne Routledge, and Jonjo Shelvey have helped the Welsh club. In the real league their performances have led to England manager Roy Hodgson making a first visit to the Liberty Stadium.
