Liga MX side Atlas have hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons this weekend after their manager Tomas Boy was accused of punching a fan in the aftermath of their 2-0 loss to Toluca.
Tomas Boy was already serving a touchline ban from a previous infringement when the incident occurred. After watching his side lose 2-0 at home to title rivals Toluca, Boy punched a fan who allegedly insulted him.

According to eye witnesses, Boy had to be withheld by several other fans to prevent him from throwing more punches.
Boy has drawn widespread criticism, but so has the fan who verbally abused him. It is yet to be seen what punishment, if any, the Mexican authorities will deem appropriate.
