The £3million Colombian, who was brought in to deputise for Wojciech Szczesny, is definitely out after failing to prove his fitness in time for the trip to Belgium, according to the Daily Mirror.
That means the path is clear for the 22-year-old Martinez to make his bow to deputise for regular first choice custodian Wojciech Szczesny, who is serving a one-match suspension for his sending off against Galatasaray in the last round of games.
However, there is some good news for the beleaguered manager as midfielders Aaron Ramsey and Mikel Arteta are in line to make their respective returns from injury, whilst Jack Wilshere has also been given the ok to play after limping out of the weekend’s clash against Hull.
