Manchester City made light work of Tottenham during Saturday’s early kick off in the Premier League, though there were two men that stole the show on the day – Sergio Aguero and referee John Moss. With that in mind here are five points we picked up from the game.

5. City can operate fine without Toure
Many thought the Ivorian would be a big miss for the Champions on Saturday, but Manuel Pellegrini showed fans and critics alike that the side are able to cope without him by resting him until the final 15 minutes. Spurs had a good share of the possession in the middle, but were still unable to do anything with it and City always made sure they found where the holes in the back line was to exploit.
