The pick of the action came in the game between Atletico Mineiro and Corinthians.

Leading 2-0 from the first leg and having not conceded an away goal, Corinthians were confident of progressing to the next stage of a competition they have won three times.
Five minutes into last night’s return leg in Belo Horizonte they grabbed an away goal to lead 3-0 on aggregate.
Atletico Mineiro refused to lie down, however, and goals from Luan and Guilherme made it 2-1 (3-2) at half time. The score remained unchanged until the 75th minute when Guilherme added a second to make it 3-3 on aggregate, but with Corinthians still leading on away goals.
Two minutes from time Edcarlos amazingly grabbed a fourth for the hosts to make the score 4-3 and send the fans delirious.
They will play Flamengo in the semi-finals.
Elsewhere, Cruzeiro progressed on away goals after a 3-3 draw with ABC and will play the winners of tonight’s game between Santos and Botafogo. Santos lead 3-2 after the first leg.
